I did not have the pleasure of meeting Joey, but I knew all about his culinary talents from his dear friend, classmate and roommate Carlo, who was inspired by Joey to create in the kitchen. Joey spent the last hours of his life surrounded by his NY friends and family, doing what he loved most, creating something special for one of the most sensational pleasures of life, to eat well and share it with others.
