Obituary of Sara Athena Reino
Sara Athena Reino of Goldens Bridge, NY passed on Sunday, September 8th, 2024 peacefully at home surrounded by family at the age of 26. Sarah was born in Goldens Bridge on August 10th, 1998, to parents Juan and Maria Reino.
She was a graduate of John Jay High School and went on to get her Associates degree in Human Services with aspirations of becoming a Social Worker and advocate of people with disabilities. Her academic achievements earned her membership in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
Sara leaves behind her Parents Juan and Maria, Brother Robert, Grandmother Juana of Katonah, NY, Aunt Dominga of North Salem, NY and Cousins, Isabella and Nicholas of Bedford Hills, NY, her adopted Honorary Grandparents Coca and Jordi of Goldens Bridge, NY and Aunt Debbie of Croton-on-Hudson.
Also leaves behind her beloved staff of dedicated nurses Bianca, Natalise, Liz, Loraine and Mirza.
Friends may call at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Rd. Katonah, NY on Friday, September 13th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, 55 Valley Rd., Katonah, NY on Saturday, September 14th at 10:00 AM.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Sara’s honor to Kennedy Krieger Institute in Maryland.
