Obituary of John J Francese

Francese, John J., of Somers formally of Mount Vernon, NY died Friday, March 10, 2017 at Putnam Hospital. John was 85 years old and an Army Veteran, having served in the Korean War. John is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nina; his sons: John A. and Robert (wife Donna) and 5 loving grandchildren: Zack, Robbie, Jimmy, John L. and Gregory. John was an avid fan of the NY Mets and served for many years as a manager and coach for Little League teams in Mt. Vernon. His specialty hobby was video recording and creating memorable records of family events for all to share and cherish. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s RC Church in Somers on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11:30am
