Obituary of John A. Hanley

Hanley, John A., 80, of Fernandina Beach, FL passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017. Mr. Hanley and his beloved wife, Patricia M. Clarkin, moved from the Bronx to Lake Katonah, NY where they resided for 43 years. He was an electrician with Local 501 and Local 3. He retired in 2002 from NYC DEP and moved to Florida in 2013. He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Patricia, of Amelia Island, FL, son, John P. (Laura) Hanley of Menlo Park, CA, daughter, Katherine (Aron) Ledger of Hopkinton, MA, sister, Sr. Geraldine Hanley, SC, of NYC and granddaughter Mary Hanley of Washington, DC. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Church, Somers, NY followed by burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
