Obituary of Edward Marzano

Marzano, Edward Sr. 91 of Mount Vernon, New York died Thursday February 23, 2017 at Northern Westchester Hospital. Edward was born on January 28, 1926 in Pozzuli, Italy to the late Edward and Maria Marzano. He immigrated to the United States at the age of 20 years. Edward was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Korean War. Edward was employed by Pan American Airlines for twenty years and retired in 1988. Edward is the beloved husband of Pasqualina (Zolfo), they married on June 23, 1957 in Mondragone, Italy. He is the loving father of Maria (Sebastian) Adamo of South Salem, NY; Anna Ragusa of Mount Vernon, NY; and Edward Marzano Jr. (Jan) of Stormville, NY. He is the devoted grandfather of Melissa, Sebastian, Edward III, Domenick, and Joseph. Edward is the dear brother of Gennaro (Genie) Marzano of Somers, NY and is also survived by his nieces. Friends may call at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY on Sunday February 26, 2017 from 1-5 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church R.C. 55 Valley Road, Katonah, NY on Monday February 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery 280 Secor Road, Hartsdale, NY 10530.
