Obituary of Micah Justin Orifici

Micah Justin Orifici of Waccabuc, NY, died suddenly on June 30th, 2017. Micah was born in White Plains, NY on January 16, 1975. He attended Woodlands High School in Greenburgh, then Columbia University where he graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He founded EduTek Ltd., a thriving educational technology company in Mamaroneck, NY in 1995. His family was everything. He married his college sweetheart, Cheryl (nee Pak) on October 5th, 1996. He was tirelessly devoted to his children, Madison Camille (13) and Christian Justin (11). Micah is the beloved son of J. Michael and Deborah Orifici of Waccabuc, NY, the big brother of Matthew Jared (and Maria) of Scarsdale, NY, and his predeceased brother Mark. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends in the Lewisboro and Scarsdale Congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses and so many others that loved him. The burial and memorial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Worldwide Orphan Foundation, wwo.org or JW.org. Micah will forever be remembered for his passion, kindness, hospitality and generosity. His faith and hope are summed up in his favorite scripture Isaiah 40:31, “But those hoping in Jehovah will regain power. They will soar on wings like eagles…”
