Obituary of Dorothy Fitzgerald

Dorothy Fitzgerald, age 87

Dorothy ("Dotty") Fitzgerald passed away peacefully on Monday July 2, 2018 at Danbury Hospice.

Born and raised in Mamaroneck, NY she was a Registered Nurse as well as a Real Estate Broker and Investor. Dotty was an active member of the community volunteering in various areas, including but not limited to Rosary Hill Hospital, politics and the Coast Guard Auxiliary. She was an active parishioner at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Katonah.

Dotty was the beloved wife of the late Martin Fitzgerald, loving mother of Marty (and wife Debbie) - living in Colchester Vermont, Tom (and wife Lori) - living in Clarence, NY, Michael - living in Bedford Hills and Dotsy, living in Canton, MA. She has 11 grandchildren Travis, Sean, Ryan and Allison (children of Marty and Debbie), Dillon, Ian and Carly (children of Tom and Lori), Philip, Michael and Connor (children of Dotsy). Dotty is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends on Thursday, July 5th from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 6th at 11:00 am at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 55 Valley Road, Katonah, NY.  Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 West Stevens Ave., Hawthorne, NY.
