Obituary of Arthur H. Elkins

Elkins, Arthur H. age 93, of Heritage Hills, Somers died Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Putnam Hospital of Carmel, NY. Mr. Elkind was born January 29, 1923 in Yonkers, NY. He is the son of Abraham and Gertrude (nee Klein) Elkind. Arthur was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Joan Lampl Elkind on January 10, 2015. He served in the Air Force. He was the owner of Imperial Wines and Liquors in Yonkers, NY. Arthur is survived by a daughter: Laurie (Stacy) Boxer; a son: James (Amy) Elkind; three grandchildren: Alexis Boxer, Dylan and Kira Elkind. Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 18 from 10:30 am to 11:30am at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY. The funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, February 18 at Clark Associates Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Jackson Avenue, Hastings on Hudson, NY.
