Obituary of James J. Flood

   Flood, James J., 95, a resident of Somers, N.Y. died on Sunday, July 29, 2018 peacefully at his home.  He is survived by his beloved and loving wife, Virginia (Ginnie).  Jim was born in NYC to the late Justice John V. Flood and Catherine O’Donnell.  He attended LaSalle Military Academy, Georgetown University and received a Bachelor’s Degree from Fordham University. 

     He served as an officer in the USAF during WWII in England and France and was a Major in the USAF Reserve.   In civilian life his early career was in broadcasting and public relations with CBS and later as Vice President of Right Associates, an International Management consulting firm, retiring in 1993.   He was a lifelong patron of the arts and music, including The Metropolitan Opera, Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts and others.

        Friends may call at Clark Associates Funeral Home, Katonah, NY. on Wednesday, August 1st from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's RC Church, 95 Plum Brook Road, Somers, NY on Thursday, August 2nd at 10:00 am.
