Obituary of Olivia J Foley
We regret to inform you of the passing of Olivia (Sandy) Foley, 78, on September 29, 2018. Sandy was a resident of Somers since 2003. Sandy passed away at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital with her family at her side. Sandy was born on September 24th 1940 in New York Hospital to her parents Henry and Antoinette Radda.
Sandy grew up in Manhattan graduating from Marymount College with degree in mathematics and a Master Degree in Computer Science from Iona College. She had a career with AT&T in White Plains, New York working in Computer Science. Sandy enjoyed travelling in retirement with her husband Tom, making daily trips to fitness center to swim and exercise, spending time with her friends and enjoyed her summers in Pocono Pines, Pennsylvania. She enjoyed spending family time with her eight grandchildren and attending their activities.
Sandy is survived by her husband Thomas, Brother Henry (Tania) Phoenix Arizona, children Lisa (Brendan) Chappaqua NY, Tom (Alice) Mahopac NY and Karina (Dominick) Roselle Park, NJ. Olivia enjoyed her eight Grandchildren TJ, Victoria, Meghan, Michael, Katarina, Kaitlin, Daniel and Joseph.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 2nd, 2018 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home. 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY 10536, . A mass of the Christian burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 95 Plum Brook Road, Somers New York 10589 on Wednesday October 3rd, 2018 at 10am. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Saw Mill River Rd. at Jackson Ave., Hastings on Hudson, NY 10706.
