Obituary of John Anthony Bassett

 John Anthony Bassett, 61, of North Salem, NY, a former longtime resident of Bedford Hills, died on December 3rd.

John was born in Mt. Kisco, NY, May 17, 1957., the son of John and Carmen Bassett 

John was an honorably discharged US Navy veteran.

He worked at Petre Glass and Mirror in Bedford Hills for many years.

He enjoyed all outdoor activities including hiking and swimming. And he was an avid woodworker and enjoyed refinishing furniture.

John is survived by his sons: John and Michael Bassett  and he is the brother of Christine McGill, Richard Bassett, Carol Breslau, Mary Welker, Michael Bassett and he was the favorite Uncle of nine nieces and nephews.

His family will receive friends on Sunday, December 9th from 2-4 pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY.

Interment will be private.
