Joe was such a wonderful man. We were coworkers for several years at Croton Harmon High School, and he was always so kind to me! He was always quick with a joke to lighten my spirits or willing to cover for me when I needed him. He will be missed! My condolences to the family. ❤

Christine and Family,
We are deeply saddened to hear of Joe's passing. Although we only met him a few times, his good heart, kind nature and genuine presence shined. We know our Grandpa Frank looked up to him and was grateful to have him as not just a neighbor, but as a "brother." Shoveling the driveway in bad weather was just one of many ways Joe had helped our Grandpa. Wouldn't it be nice if the world had more people like Joe.
Please know that you and your family are in our prayers.

Mary, Christine & Family,
We are so incredibly sorry for your loss. Joe was a genuinely kind soul and everything you could hope for in a neighbor and friend. Yourselves and Joe always treated my grandparents like family, and we are fortunate to have met him. May he rest in peace - you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Christine and Family Members of Mr. Causa,
I only met "Joe" on one occasion. He did leave a lasting impression to be not only a kind, compassionate, and personable individual but also to be honorable, strong, and someone who looks out for his fellow man.
A man like Mr. Causa is not easy to come by these days. His family is lucky to have had such a man in their lives.
Christine, I know you will cherish all those fond memories you have with your dad in your heart to carry with you always and forever.
God Bless and My sincere condolences from my family to yours...

Mr. Causa, aka “Papa Joe”, where to even begin. My heart is so heavy that you have left us too soon, but I will forever be blessed to have known you, and will celebrate you, as the great father, husband, and friend that you were. Thank you for the countless memories, laughter, adventures on vacation, advice, car washes, guidance down the driveway, and for putting up with our sleepover antics. You welcomed me into your home, as your second daughter, and I am eternally grateful to you for giving me the greatest gift of all, my best friend and baby sister, Christine. May you rest in the sweetest peace. We will love and miss you always ❤️ D2
