Obituary of Robert A. Lange

Lange, Robert A. “Bob”, 84, of Somers, NY, formerly of Mt. Vernon, NY, died the 29th of December 2016, at his home. Bob was born on August 7, 1932 in Mt. Vernon, NY to the late Lillian and Harold Lange. A resident of Somers for 28 years, Bob was a U.S. Marine veteran and served in Korea. A graduate of Pace University, he received an Associates degree in Accounting. Bob was a Senior Vice President and Controller of Rudin Management in New York City and retired after 42 years. He was a life member of the Somers Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #8213 and life member of the Putnam County detachment of the Marine Corp League. Bob is survived by his beloved wife Maureen (nee Meade), daughter Meghan Finn, son-in-law Michael Finn, grandson Hudson Robert Finn, brother Harold and sister Judy Godfrey, and many nieces and nephews. His family will receive friends on Monday, January 2nd from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00 -9:00pm and on Tuesday, January 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 4th at 10:00 am at St. Joseph’s RC Church, 95 Plum Brook Road, Somers, NY 10589. Interment will follow at Ivandell Cemetery, Route 202, Somers, NY 10589.
