Obituary of Therese Vnuczenski

Vnuczenski, Therese “Terry”, 72, a longtime resident of South Salem, NY, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2019. Therese, the daughter of the late Ludwig and Etta Sirch, was born on August 17, 1947 in the Bronx, NY. On August 30, 1975, she married Joseph “Joe” Vnuczenski in New Jersey. In 1979, Terry and Joe moved to South Salem, where they resided until their respective deaths. Terry was employed by the former Misericordia Hospital in the Bronx as the head nurse of the emergency department for many years. During her nursing tenure, she was also employed with Kaiser Permanente in Stamford, CT. Terry was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her son and embraced every moment with him. She especially loved her role as Grandma and always lit up when visiting with her grandsons. Terry had a joyful personality and always made people around her laugh. She loved her family and friends with all her heart and instilled in her son strong values that have served him well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Terry was predeceased by her husband, Joe Vnuczenski, and sister Mary Barmettler. She is survived by her son, Paul and his wife, Jessica; grandsons Keegan and Dylan; sister Ellie Eidam; and many more loving relatives and dear friends. Her family will receive friends on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Clark Associates Funeral Home , 4 Woods Bridge Road in Katonah, NY.
