Obituary of Ella Arlene Ciliberto

Ella Arlene Ciliberto,, “Miss Ellie” of Katonah, NY formerly of New Rochelle, died Saturday, March 21st 2020 at Northern Westchester Hospital. Miss Ellie was born on September 1, 1935 in Tolono, Illinois to the late Marion Rutherford and Linda Mae Stone. She was a graduate of Julia F. Burnham Nursing school and earned her master’s in nursing and Business administration from Pace University. She was assistant director of Nursing at Northern Westchester Hospital till she retired in 1986? Ellie is survived by her husband of 62 years, John, her brother James Rutherford (Fort Wayne, Ind), and sister Linda Bellamy (Bonita Springs, Fla). She was the loving mother of Steve (Pawling), Susan (Lumberton, NJ) Vickie (Carmel), John (Milford, CT) and Frank (Mt Kisco). She was devoted to her 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and another on the way. Miss Ellie loved BBQ’s with family and friends. She was the neighborhood nurse and fed anyone who came thru the door. Her unconditional love and kindness will be remembered. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
