Obituary of Elizabeth K Hickey

Hickey – Elizabeth (Betty) K., 85 of Bedford, NY died peacefully on Sunday, April 19, 2020. Mrs. Hickey was born May 22, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY. Betty worked with her husband Raymond, in their own insurance agency, Hickey & Hickey in Bedford, NY from 1974 to 2001 retiring to care for her husband who predeceased her in 2014. Betty is survived by five children: Raymond F. Jr (Pam), Mary H. Palmerton (Larry), Brian J. (Maureen), Michael D. (Jacqueline), and Peter J. Hickey (Allyson) and 16 grandchildren. Betty loved family gatherings at her home surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Internment is private in Oakwood Cemetery, Mt. Kisco, NY. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, Bedford, NY later this year. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Bedford Free Library, PO Box 375, Bedford, NY 10506.
