Obituary of Glennis Paige Thoroman

Glennis Paige ("Paige") Thoroman of Spring Valley, NY, formerly of Pound Ridge and Mt. Kisco, NY, died Monday, June 8, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY.

  Paige was born April 9, 1930 in Dongola, Illinois, to the late William Orlan Corzine and Edna (Holt) Corzine.  Growing up in Illinois, she was a cheerleader and singer who knitted sweaters for servicemen during World War II.  In 1960, she moved with her husband and children from the midwest to New York State. 

She was a homemaker and active in local garden clubs, the League of Women Voters, and the Pound Ridge Community Church, where she was a member for 30 years.  She loved singing, gardens and flowers, birds, her family and friends, and traveling. 

She is survived by her children, James (Janet) Thoroman of Richmond, VA, and Eric (Ann McKay) Thoroman of Maplewood, NJ, plus sister Yvonne Staley of Ft. Worth, TX, and grandchildren Carrie Thoroman of Panama City Beach, FL, Anna Paige Thoroman of Chelmsford, MA, Lucy Thoroman and Sallie Thoroman, both of Maplewood, NJ. 

Services and interment are delayed. 

Arrangements by Clark Associates Funeral Home, Katonah, NY.  Interment will be at Christian Chapel Cemetery, Dongola, Illinois.
