Obituary of Roberta Kriedberg
Roberta Kriedberg a 29 year resident of Heritage Hills in Somers, N.Y. died
Thursday, August 27, 2020 at the Waterview Nursing Home in Purdys N.Y.
Roberta was 81 years of age.
Roberta was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1938 and dedicated her life's work in the
field of nursing to helping others regain their health. She received an
Associates Degree in Nursing Education from Brooklyn College. She
attended N.Y.U. and received a B.S.in Nursing and later Columbia
University where she received an M.A. in Nursing Administration.
Roberta spent her nursing career at Kings County Hospital, Metropolitan
Jewish Geriatric Hospital, Kings Highway Hospital in Brooklyn and Bethel
Long Term Care in Westchester County. She was also an instructor at Pace
University.
At Heritage Hills, she was President of the League of Women Voters and
President of the Health and Safety Committee. She was well known and
admired by all and had a smile that would light up a room.
Roberta is survived by her husband of 60 years, Harvey Kriedberg, and her
two children: Bonnie Nash and son-in-law Christopher Nash and Michael Kriedberg
and daughter-in- law Jennifer Kriedberg and 5 grandchildren: Robert Kriedberg and
his wife Marissa, Brian Kriedberg, William Kriedberg, Alex Nash and Emma Nash.
She loved them dearly and will be missed by all.
Funeral arrangements by Clark Associates Funeral Home in Katonah and interment at Mount
Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson. Services will be limited to immediate family due to
the Corona Virus. Donations in Roberta’s memory should be made to the
