Obituary of Janet E. Morris

Morris, Janet E., 73, a 13 year resident of Cross River, NY died on January 23rd. Janet was born in Queens, NY, November 28, 1942 to Edmund and Evelyn Fischer. Janet was a mother, homemaker and an active member of the Bedford Presbyterian Church in Bedford, NY since 1990. She excelled at her arts and crafts and assisted with the Church’s annual Mistletoe Mart. Janet was a strong woman till the end. She is survived by her son, Derek Morris (Jessica) of Bensalem, PA and her brother Robert Fischer (Barbara) of Mineola, NY. Janet was predeceased by her husband, Edward J. Morris in 2001. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 27th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 28th at 1:00 pm at the Bedford Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow at Middle Patent Rural Cemetery, Banksville, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bedford Presbyterian Church.
