Obituary of Frances E. Pio

Pio, Frances E. “Fran” 76 of The Villages in Lady Lake Florida, formerly of Patterson New Jersey died Sunday, June 26, 2016 at The Villages Regional Medical Center in The Villages, FL. Fran was born on September 21, 1939 to the late Anthony and Frances Pio. Fran was a graduate of Rutgers University receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She subsequently went on to Fordham University where she received a Masters of Business Degree. Fran worked for the pharmaceutical giant Pfizer, Inc. for 49 years before retiring in 1998 as a Senior Buyer for the Pfizer Consumer Products Division in Parsippany, New Jersey. Fran is survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins Marie Sheppard and Lucille Schmidt. Fran was the cherished and beloved friend to Nancy Panzenbeck for 56 years, and to Helen Maroulis for 46 years and Alberta Mount for 26 years. Fran will live on in our hearts and memories forever The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 6th at 10AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel located in Gate of Heaven Cemetery at 10 West Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, New York 10532. Directly following the Mass, entombment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Mausoleum.
