Bagel Baby. Born August 10, 1995, My daughter Aileen, you were there Rose the day she born after a very long Labor and I was being kept back in L&D. You asked to take her from the nursery to play with her and took photos. The bagel baby photo stayed at the nurses station for a long time. You were so good at taking care of your patients. Many great memories and antics come to mind. The always entertaining Helen closet was one of them. Your expertise will be missed. I figure us old L&D nurses get to hang in the nurses lounge in heaven where the antics and laughs continue.

Rose it was always a pleasure to work with you. We have had the honor to share in an important experience in the lives of our patients. I always felt you had my back and I always had yours. Funny story, back in the day we were all getting our Ob certification and many of us didn’t say anything when we were scheduled to do the exam. Who did I meet in the parking lot in White Plains as I am on my way to exam, Rose. We took the test together and walked out together and the proctor told us happily “ you both passed”. What a relief. You will be missed but my life will always have been better knowing you. Rest In Peace Rose

I will never forget how Rose and Liz went downtown to “ bling” out my dress. They bought sequins and beads to make it special for me. I hardly knew them at the time, we worked separate shifts and only knew each other in passing from day shift to night shift. Her kindness and thoughtfulness is what I will always remember .
