Obituary of Joan Albert

Joan Jacober Albert lost a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's on May 2, 2022, in Sleepy Hollow, NY.

 She loved traveling, going to museums, and drinking martinis by the water.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Kathi Arnow (Peter), Susan Albert (Jeff), and Ken Albert (Leiza), grandchildren, Ben Arnow (Leslie), Daniel Arnow (Lisa Singer), Joel Arnow (Leanne), Jacob Howard (Rachel), Zack Howard (Emily Schnur), and Julian Albert.  

She also leaves behind ten great-grandchildren, Liran, Harper, Livia, Sidney, Haley, Wrenn, Levi, Mia, Marlow, and Samuel, as well as two foreign exchange students, Lino Tedeschi and Sophia Potter, whom she loved as her children.

The family would also like to express their deep gratitude to Linda Robinson-Jabang who cared for her "Joanie" with love and dedication.

There will be a small graveside service on Friday, May 6 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
