I was a very young real estate agent in the later 1980's and had the pleasure of working with (and learning from) Bob (Hayward and Richmond, CA) . His humor, intellect, friendly dignity, kindness and charm were something I will always remember. I visited his waterfront home in Belvedere, CA (on SF Bay) and I do recall one or two guests were tossed into the water that day, as well as hearing a great story of a good friend who had arranged to have Bob's boat boarded and Bob reprimanded by the Coast Guard for flying the Union Jack in US Waters. He was so tickled by that. He enjoyed and was amused by people. I am glad to have known him, and to remember him for many of the qualities I sought to model into myself. He was a great man.
