Somers has lost one of its best citizens as well as a native son. Richie and Terry were our good neighbors and friends when we lived across the street on Carolyn Way. Richie always had a calm and friendly way about him and would go out of his way to help any and all. He certainly knew his away around a tool shop and was no stranger to hard work. God bless you, Richie. You were a solid citizen and we’re all a little poorer due to your passing Joe and Carol Kelly

It was not to long ago I shared, with Teresa, his wife, and a neighbor, in a little birthday celebration for Richie. Bringing our “Happy Birthday Wishes”. Richie was so pleased to see us, and of course, offering us his famous Gin and Tonic with a twist of lime! Our conversations extending from boating adventures to golf, to knee surgery, and whatever made us laugh!! I always enjoyed my visits with him, since his kind and gracious manor reminded me of my dad. He will be greatly missed and especially sharing, with him, conversation, and a Gin and Tonic, with a twist of lime. God Bless you Richie. Thank you for your kindness.
