I knew Diego for the past 12 years. He was tough to reach on the phone and was often working hard, but was always a pleasure when we connected. I actually spoke with him a few months ago and was hoping to meet up when he felt OK. Any time I ever saw him, he always had an uplifting smile and I know I am just one of many who will miss that. God bless.

I am so saddened by Diego’s passing. Although I lost touch with him after his graduation, I will always remember the sweet, hardworking, kind, and very respectful young student at KES. Diego would bring in his moms homemade empanadas to our class parties and everyone loved them! Diego, you were always one of my favorite students! May your heavenly star shine bright as bright as your star when you were on earth! I send my heartfelt condolences to his mom, brother and all of his family. Be at peace Diego and fly with the angels.

Diego's smile would brighten anyone's day. I was fortunate to have seen him on the way in to school for many years at Greeley. I enjoyed hearing about his adventures on the water and he was also great listener. Such a generous person, I am so blessed to have known him. I wish peace for his entire family and strength for the days ahead.
