Obituary of Vincent Santoriella

Vincent Santoriella, 85,  died on Friday, August 11th, 2023, at Putnam Ridge Nursing Home., Brewster, NY

He was born in New York City on October 18th, 1937, to Vincent Santoriella and Carmela Pastore. Vincent was a Bronx resident for 84 years.

He attended the Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx and then City College in Manhattan and The College of Aeronautics in Queens.

Vincent was an aeronautical engineer for Grumman Aerospace Corporation in Riverhead, NY for most of his life which led him to work on the capsule that landed on the moon in 1969. He also served in the Army Reserve. 

In his free time Vincent was an artist and a musician; he enjoyed piano and guitar, and writing short stories,

Vincent is survived by his brothers Philip and Joseph Santoriella, both residents of New York

His family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 16th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00a.m. at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated also on August 16th at 11:30 am at St. Joseph's RC Church, 95 Plum Brook Road, Somers, NY

Interment will follow at Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, 10 West Stevens Ave., Hawthorne, NY
