Obituary of Daniel Kevin O'Donnell

Daniel Kevin O’Donnell, of Mount Kisco, NY passed away September 8, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.  He was 79 years old.  Daniel was born December 18, 1943 in Bronx, NY to Matthew and Margaret O’Donnell.

Daniel is survived by his wife Diane (Melkun) of 43 years, his five children, Rory O’Donnell, Siobhan (Gabriel) Wardi, Shannon (Michael) Minnella, Courtney O’Donnell, and Connor O’Donnell. Also surviving are five grandchildren; Kyle, Claire, Kiera, Ryan and Declan.  He is survived by his brother John (Georgine) O’Donnell. He was predeceased by his beloved nephew John O’Donnell and is survived by many other nieces and nephews. Daniel was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. 

Daniel is an Army Veteran. He is a graduate of Iona College where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.  For many years he worked as an accountant for the New York Post.  He then moved on to be a manager for Publishers Circulation Fulfillment where he worked until he retired. 

Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at Clark Associates Funeral Home, Katonah, NY on Thursday, September 14.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 55 Valley Road, Katonah, NY on Friday, September 15 at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Biddeford Pool Land Trust - Daniel’s most beloved place he visited every summer.
