Obituary of Dorothy C. Kapica

Dorothy Kapica, 94 of Somers, NY passed away of Covid-19 on September 10, 2023, surrounded by her loving children.

Dorothy was the youngest of 3 children raised in Scarsdale, NY.  She married her devoted husband Stan in 1957. They raised their 3 children in Armonk, where they resided until 2007, when they downsized to Heritage Hills.

Stan preceded Dorothy in death in 2011. They are survived by their children; Stanley Kapica, Deb Hopkins and Carolyn Taylor; 4 grandchildren, Samantha, Taylor, Carson and Catherine; and one great-grandchild, River.

Dorothy and Stan’s ashes will be scattered along the Marginal Way in Ogunquit, Maine, a favorite vacation spot they shared with family and friends.
