Obituary of Beatrice Carelli

Beatrice (Betty) Elizabeth Carelli, 99, of Dobbs Ferry and Bedford Hills, New York, passed away peacefully in Northern California on September 16, 2023.

Betty was born in Ardsley, NY, on August 10, 1924, to Frank and Ann Moretti, and enjoyed a happy childhood alongside her younger siblings, Tony, Marie, and Ruby.

Betty was very proud of her career on the quality control team at Sonotone Corporation.

She met the love of her life, Vincent Carelli, and they married in September of 1947. Together they shared a love of food, gardening, travel, and family. Betty and Vince never missed an opportunity to take to the dance floor and impress us all with their grace. It was in these moments their love for each other was on display.

Betty has a large family who love her and will continue to celebrate her life, especially when cooking in the kitchen, using fresh ingredients, and celebrating the importance of sharing a meal with family and friends. She is survived by her two sisters, Marie Ciccarelli and Ruby Messinger Bove, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 2:00 to 6:00pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 11:00am at St. Mary Of The Assumption Church, 55 Valley Road, Katonah, NY.  Interment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, Lexington Avenue, Mount Kisco, NY 10549
