Mary Ostrowski Farley, of Albany, NY, died of metastatic Merkel cell cancer on October 3, 2023 at Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow, NY. Born March 28, 1926, she was raised on a dairy farm in Chatham, NY and attended the local one-room schoolhouse, graduating high school at 16. She previously resided in Loudonville, NY and at the Avila Retirement Community in Albany.
She was a graduate of the Mildred Elley School in Albany and assisted her husband, Leo A. Farley, in the management of his business, American Boiler, Tank & Welding, for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary-Elizabeth (Frank Carnabuci) of Mount Kisco, NY; son, Leo (Terry) of Lewes DE; and grandchildren, Andrew Carnabuci, Sarah Carnabuci and Christopher Farley (April); as well as nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years and two brothers.
A memorial service will be held at the Avila Retirement Community on Thursday, November 9th at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Loudonville Presbyterian Church, 22 Old Niskayuna Road, Loudonville, NY 12211.
