Obituary of Ed Dickan, Jr.

Edward G. Dickan Jr., 88, of Brewster, NY formerly of Bedford Hills, NY died Thursday, October 12, 2023 at The Enclave Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. 

Ed was born on March 10, 1935 in Mt. Vernon, N.Y. to the late Edward and Amanda Dickan.  Ed worked for Ford Motor Company for 46 yrs. as a parts manager before he retired in 1998. Ed also proudly served on the Sheriff’s Emergency Force of Westchester County in the 1960’s & 1970’s.

Ed was the beloved husband of Therese ( nee Credendino) who predeceased him in 2014.  Ed was the loving father of Edward (Deb) of Trumbull, CT., Jeffrey (Amy) of Katonah, NY and John (Laurie) of Collerville, TN.  He was a devoted and loving grandfather to Robert, Ashley, Allison, Nicole and Jake and two great grandsons Grant and Louis. Ed is the brother of Kenneth (Kathy) of Yorktown, NY and is survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and close lifelong friends.

Friends may call at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Rd., Katonah, NY on Sunday, Oct 15 from 3:00 to 7:00pm.

The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Monday, Oct 16 at 9:45am

The burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Mt. Kisco, NY
