I also worked with Fred at Nash. We first met in the early 80’s, then I was transferred to Birmingham to work with the paper mills in the SE, and support Nash. Fred was a mentor, boss, friend, and always had a smile. We were still in touch after he left Nash and went with Elvex, in the safety business. Dear Susan, I am sorry to hear of Fred's passing. I have been engulfed in pleasant memories since 6:00 a.m. this morning when I got the message. What a great, peaceful friend I had those years at Somers. So many good memories. I hope his life was as gratifying as it seemed. He was so lucky to marry the sweetest girl in Somers.
