Joanne and family... I was sad to hear of Greg's passing. You hired me in 1993 to work in shipping and then moved to data base where I spent the next 14 years. I wish I had gotten to know Greg better. What I did know of him was that he was an honest, hard working man. The smile on his face was a reflection of how he loved and cared for people. He always had time to stop and chat with MDA staff. His love for his family and friends was evident in all he did. I offer my sympathy And hope that you know what a great lady YOU are. You believed in me when I didn't believe in my self. Until the end, I was proud of where I worked. I have made many life long friends. It was a sad time when the company failed. Keep the happy memories and let the bad ones float away. Greg will always be with all of you and you will feel his presence, he it's not going to let you down now. Take care of each other and you will get through this and it will make you stronger. With hugs and thanks for the opportunity to get to know the other part of the Dunn family.

I was honored to have taken art classes with Greg. He was a positive, fun, creative spirit, and brought his curiosity and his own unique take on a subject. He was an inspiration, with his bold, larger-than-life drawings and paintings. He was a thoughtful conversationalist, and he was always interested in what others had to say as well. I will miss Greg - a very tender human being.

Greg was an excellent parent, who dearly loved his children and was fully invested in and passionate about their education. An education that included: large doses of “book learning”, nurturing curiosity and “hands-on” skills. He would gladly accept complements on behalf of his children, but was not keen to any suggestion that he was lucky. Parenting was “serious business and hard work”. He wanted, I’m sure, to help provide his children with a solid foundation that would support a lifetime of growth, learning and facing new challenges. He succeeded and will be deeply missed for many reasons.

I have known Greg through my association with the marketing industry and the Dunn family. One of my favorite memories was arriving at his home one evening after a business meeting with his wife JoAnne. He kindly greeted us at the door, inquired about our day and told us dinner was on the stove. Greg escorted us out to the garden where he had a table set. He asked for my drink request and ventured back inside to turn right back around with platter of assorted of cheeses, crackers, fruit for us to snack on while he prepared our drinks. I thought “WOW, JoAnne is one lucky lady!”. We all sat for a bit to catch up and then he took me on a tour of the beautiful garden that he took so much pride in, and for good reason. He was a lovely, kind, soft spoken man who had a way of making people feel special. My heart goes out to JoAnne, the kids and the Dunn family. With Love - Tracy O’Connell Hennessy
