My earliest memories are of Tibby. She was an integral part of my entire life and a part of most major events in our home. Just to be clear about this, Yes, I remember thowing Tibby's wallet out the car window. Mother was driving, Tibby and I were sitting in the front seat playing patty cake; I was probably no more than three years old at the time. She handed me her wallet...I remember she gave it to me...and I laughed and tossed it out the window. She yelled out loud, Liz! She just threw my wallet out! Mom slammed on the brakes and threw the car in reverse. Tibby opened the car door to look down at the ground. It didn't take long, she shouted stop, stop, there it is. She jumped out, ran and picked up the wallet and got back in the car and we headed off again. I reached for the wallet, hey, this was a fun game, let's do it again and Tibby laughed and said I was never getting my hands on her wallet again. My heart is very empty right now, the space that Tibby occupied for over 60 years is achingly empty.
