I'm just hearing of this now.
She was one of my favorite people at SawMill.
I ran into her a few years back, it was great to see her.
I'm so sorry for the family.
She was very proud of her children.
RIP.

My favorite memory of Mrs. Fazzinga was when they use to live on the same street as us. I use to go down to their home to hang out with Jill, playing games like Trouble or just running around. I was in the kitchen one day and Mrs. Fazzinga was fixing hot tea. She was putting milk into the tea and she turned and said to me, "This is how the French drink it." to this day that is how I fix my hot tea. I thought that image was so elegant. As graceful as she seemed to me at that moment.
The Fazzinga's hold a special time period in my heart. Not only have they exuded in their love towards my family, but they are an extension of my family. Our families have a unique friendship that has lasted through the years, one that you would have to be a part of to understand.
I love you family and hope that you will take time to pause once you get through the services. Try to relax and take the time each one of you need to mourn....but remember go through the stages you need to become whole again. Cry it out! Laugh it out! Remember the good times that can never be erased from the love that you shared with your mother.

I remember the day the Fazzinga's moved in across the street. Since that day our families have been inseparable.
Carolyn (Cong Cong) was like a second mother to me and will always have a beautiful place in my heart.
You will be missed, but always cherished.
Love you, Cong Cong.

I have been in this amazing family since I was in middle school. My best memories are being at the Fazzinga home in my early years into the present. As time went on Carolina welcomed me in to her home as family and treated me like a daughter, I gained 2 sistas and 3 brothers how lucky am I. Especially over these last four years I spent a lot of holidays and needless to say the laughter was endless. I’m forever grateful to have had such an amazing woman, friend and like a mom in my life. I’m so glad that I got to spend time with you in these last couple of weeks. Love you Carolina and I will miss our talks, forever in my heart. MaryAnn

Aunt Carolyn was extraordinary example of beauty, compassion and strength. Our family was truly blessed by a mother who so deeply cared for her children and family. She and my mom truly shared a special friendship, and the echo of their laughter lingers on. WarmestWishes for PeacefulMoments in the days ahead. Carrying you all in prayer.
