Obituary of Carolyn Ann Fazzinga

Carolyn Fazzinga

December 26, 1934 - August 7, 2022

On Sunday, August 7th, 2022 Carolyn Fazzinga a lifetime member of Bedford Hills, NY and a beautiful mother, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her 5 children.

Carolyn was born and raised in Bedford Hills, NY to William and Gladys Mooney.

Grew up as a child on Tanrackin Farm in Bedford Hills. Attended and graduated from the Bedford Hills Elementary School where she was a great athlete & cheerleader. Also enjoyed her Friday night bowling league.

Her house was "Home Base" to many. We all gathered there and it was always opened to all. That's where she was the happiest. - Everyone was welcomed.

Carolyn was a very tough and hardworking women. Began at "Rosie's Restaurant" in Mt. Kisco with her sister-in-law Rose Malsbury. She continued on to the Tip Spot in Bedford Hills and then to The Saw Mill Tennis Club, Mt Kisco NY -where she eventually retired. She was a proud member of the Women's Club in Bedford Hills where she enjoyed herself and met so many new friends.

She raised 5 children on her own and was so proud of each and every one of us. She never asked for a thing and always put us children before herself. She had amazing strength that pulled us through the toughest times. She was the true matriarch of our family.

She enjoyed her trips to New Hampshire where she spent a lot of time with her sister Diane Netsch. They were 2 peas in a pod. They did everything alike and always knew what the other was thinking. A very special bond. She had the unfortunate loss of her sister Jane Banks who she adored and spent so much time with her as well. They always enjoyed going shopping and trying different restaurants together. They too had a very special bond.

Carolyn touched so many lives, that there is not enough room to name them all. She was very special to so many. She truly loved life and never took one day for granted.            If there was ever a crisis (which there were many) she would always say "This Too Shall Pass."         Amazing strength, integrity, selflessness -

A wonderful and beautiful mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband Michael and her sister Jane Banks. She is survived by her sister Diane Netsch, her 3 sons, Michael, Wayne and Will and her 2 daughters Jill and Judy. 4 Grandchildren Michael, Jeffrey, Lindsey and

Mackenzie Fazzinga and 1 great granddaughter Brooklyn Fazzinga along with several nieces and nephews.

We will all miss her dearly.

Her family will receive friends on Thursday, August 11 at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY from 3:00pm t 7:00 pm
