Aunt Claire was a gem- quick with a smile and full of mischief. I always looked forward to seeing her and I loved the stories she had to share. I hope you are having a great party with your husband, my grandparents and your friends in heaven.

It was always a party when Claire was around! My cousin was beautiful, kind, fun, and loving. I always used to tell her that when I was young, I thought she was SO beautiful and glamorous---that made her laugh. But she really was glamorous!! The two of us used to sneak off to smoke at gatherings. I think we were the only 2 women who smoked!!! I loved her, and the fun we always had when she was around. She will be missed very much.

I don't think I can say it better than James's beautiful tribute and I agree with all he said. Claire was someone to be admired and emulated. She had movie star good looks, a beautiful smile, infectious laughter and a carefree attitude. She was modern and up - to - date and stood out from the crowd. Her ability to put others at ease made her a pleasure to be around. Whenever Claire's name comes up I say"I just love Claire". She will be very much missed by all who knew her. She leaves a rich legacy of happy memories and examples of a life well lived for all of us.

Claire became my cousin when she married my first cousin John DeLuca before I was born which was a long time ago. When I was very young the family picked up and moved to upstate New York and I really didn’t see much of her. I only saw her at family functions and holidays when they would come to visit. At weddings she was the life of the party along with her sister in-law Mildred, who also knew how to have a good time. She was the type of person that could light up a room with her smile. I can’t remember anything bad about her she was just a wonderful person and a blessing to her family. Whenever we would meet she treated me with love and kindness because that was her way, that was Claire. She was a strong woman and endured many hardships in her 90+ years, managed to find a way and always stood. They don’t make people like Claire anymore, she was special. My deepest sympathy to her family and loved ones. She will be greatly missed.
